Mona Zaher, M.D. grew up in Houston, Katy, and Sugar Land, Texas. She went to Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas, and graduated Salutatorian of her senior class. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and earned a degree in Biochemistry and earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. After a transitional medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine, she completed her residency in Dermatology at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota with rotations at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Jacksonville, Florida. After residency, she completed a 2 year Cosmetic and Mohs Surgery Fellowship in Morristown, New Jersey. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the Houston Dermatologic Society, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Passionate about helping patients and skin, she specializes in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending her son's and daughter's school and extra-curricular activities.
